Joseph closed his eyes and immersed himself in the way her lips felt against his. He leaned into her laying her back. He kissed her back, pulling away for only a moment. He leaned down, his lips now near her ear. "If I said I loved you, what would you do?" He kissed her lips once again, this time not daring to break away.

Peyson's heart skipped a beat as he lay her back. She slowly opened her eyes when he pulled away, wondering why he had. She bit her lip and listened to Joseph's soft voice in her ear. Before she could answer him, he kissed her again, and she slowly wrapped her arms around him when he did. Reluctantly, she broke the kiss and looked into his eyes. "I'd say..." she stopped for a moment, then smiled slightly. "I love you, too."

Joseph looked away for a moment. He suddenly couldn't look at Peyson. He didn't know why, but his chest suddenly tightened. "Would you mean it?" He asked in a quiet whisper.

Peyson stared at him, and for a moment it felt as if she couldn't breathe. She couldn't even open her mouth to speak. Swallowing hard, she touched the side of Joseph's face lightly, just to turn his head so he was facing her again. "I love you, Joseph." she replied in the same quiet whisper, and meant every word.

Joseph smiled and kissed her lightly. "I love you, Peyson." He said. He kissed her again. "And I mean it with everything I have." Joseph felt like he was ontop of the world at that moment. But it didn't last as long as he hoped. The sudden feeling of losing her crept up behind him and put its hands around his neck, though he didn't know why.

Peyson had wanted to hear him say that for the longest time. She smiled and kissed him back, running her hand through his hair. She kissed him again lightly, and tried to enjoy the moment, but she couldn't help but feel like she could lose him at any time.

The air was thick with worry and wonder, but Joseph smiled. "So what's the deal with that Johnny dude?" He asked with a laugh. "I mean I know he's a beautiful superstar, but I never thought you'd go for that."

"Shutup." Peyson whined as she playfully shoved him off of her. "It's nothing." she added quickly, though she wasn't completely sure.

Joseph laughed. "Sure...whatever you say." he teased. He stood up and stretched. His elbow popped and he winced just a bit. "Well, I'm gonna go inside. You coming?" Joseph asked. He flashed Peyson a smile and shoved his hands in his pockets.

Peyson rolled her eyes and watched him stretch. "You're just so hi-larious." she said sarcastically. She rolled her neck a bit, and it popped a couple of times. "Sure." she answered to his question, and stood up. She stumbled back a little; her legs were almost asleep since she'd been sitting for so long.

Joseph's hand shot out to the small of her back, hoping to catch her if she fell. He smiled again, but didn't remove his hand from where it was. "C'mon." he said softly.

Joseph walked to the door that led into the head quarters. He held the door for Peyson to enter first, then walked on. He led her to his dorm room, but stopped just before they reached the door. He looked at Peyson with a serious look. "You can come in if you want, but whatever happens in there is beyond my control. If we get in over our heads it's because you were just too damn persuasive with those hips and lips." he said with a grin as he touched her hips lightly.

"Thanks." she said, walking inside before he did. She held his hand and walked next to him as Joseph led her to his dorm room. When they stopped, she smiled.
If we get in over our heads it's because you were just too damn persuasive with those hips and lips.
"Oh, really?" Peyson asked, her lips curving into a more sly smile. She let go of his hand and wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling herself a little closer. "Would that really be such a bad thing?" she questioned in a quieter tone.

Joseph smiled. "Not at all, but can you handle me?" he asked in a slightly cocky tone. Joseph had heard from plenty of women that he was a force when it came to love and he would never deny that fact. But Peyson had to be ready to take him on or thing wouldn't turn out the way they should. "So?" he asked again.
