Melinda coutinue to watch the news as the she put herfeet on the table in front of her. She tied her hair back with a red hair tie. See she likes the color red because one of her powers got into red. She would just lay back watching the news.

"Of course he is...look at his mother" she said laughing slightly before reaching the bottom step once again and walking back towards the room to sit down. Michelle looked back at Peter to see if he was still following her, and slightly frowned at the question he asked her. "Well...yeah I think I am....why?" she asked. Michelle looked at the woman there..seeing she had another red item on before, taking a seat with Jake still in her arms on another couch in the room.

Melinda looked and the women with the baby."Cute kid he looks like you."Melinda said to the woman with a smile. "My name is Melinda."Melinda said to the woman. Melinda looked back at the TV as there was a picture of the muntants who attacked the White House.

She looked at the girl..well now Melinda and gave a small smile "Thanks and nice to meet you, Melinda.". Well...at least the lady was talking to her now, eh she'll tell her..her name later when she felt like introducing herself again. She looked at Peter...and started to roll her eyes again, but stopped in time. She smiled and gave a light shrug "Well...I don't know you people and keep you telling me things I already know...or not know...and don't care for".

She blinked in confusion at Melinda's outburst. Wait...what? She was just so confused...this is what she got for hanging out with people that were older then her. She laid Jake down beside her on the couch and looked at Peter and slowly nodded "Well....nobody really wanted to help me before"

She shook her head and smiled again "Thanks...but I don't need help. I just really needed a place to stay, which the professor gave me. The rest I can take care for myself. Again...thanks though". Well at least she made one friend in this place. She turned her attention to the tv seeing a report about the White House, being attacked by mutants. She gave a sigh, wondering when the stupid war was just going to be done and over with.

Melinda got up and walked to the window. She saw something outside and it wasn't a mutant it was a human. She looked closer and it was her father she went white as a gost as she turned around.

Michelle looked at Peter and gave a small wave as he left. She then sighed, since she had to stay in here with that red lady now. Well...maybe she could just leave, saying she had something very important to do....which would be a big lie...but who cared? She took Jake in arms, thankful he was still alsleep and turned to Melinda and started to smile..but instead frowned seeing the look on her face. "Whats wrong?" she asked.

Michelle blinked at the one word, she said then she completly froze. She walked towards the window to look at it...and saw no one there, well she did see a car outside, but she just thought it was Peter's car and that it would leave soon since he had just left. She turned back to look at Melinda and sighed "There's no one out there...".
