Jean was a bit surprised at Spider-Man's statement.
"He said you saved him," she asked. "But why do you turn him away? And I don't wanna pry into your mind right now."
She smiled a little.

Spider-Man would be shocked if Jean falled for this she seen worse besides you should always trust your friend special if he's a big time super hero. As Peter grabbed his wrist, he'd find his grip slipping away. A viscous liquid had been secreted out of his pores and onto his wrist, which made it easy for him to get out of the hold. "Don't touch me." He adjusted his shirt. "I just wanna' talk with your friend. I have a thing for redheads. You, however, are making yourself out to be a jerk in front of her. I never thought Spider-Man, of all people, would be a mean person out of the suit."

Aaron stared down at the shorter hero, as he was easily at least six inches taller than him. "I think I hear a little kid crying about losing their balloon. Go save it for her." He walked back over to Jean, a smile on his face. "So. As I was saying before I was rudely interrupted, I'm Aaron."

Jean stared at the two guys while they were bantering. She was getting amused. But there is a reality to Spider-man's, or Peter's, words.
"Hi Aaron," she said. "You don't have to fight, you know. And I know that Peter is telling the truth."
