Appearance:

Selene is a 5'7" tall woman, with black hair and brown eyes. She possesses a sort of dark, otherworldly beauty. Her hair she usually always wears down. As for her attire, she usually wears a black latex outfit with a latex corset with embroidery on it (see picture). If the weather is colder, she also has a matching trench coat with the same embroidery as the corset. She has a good couple of these outfits, so to someone that doesn't know her it might seem she always wears the same one.

Personality:
Selene is quick to take action when someone she cares for is in danger. Though she is also unsure when around new people. It often takes her a while to get used to someone in a first encounter. First impressions are a key to her personality and she can hold grudges infinitely. She won't forget something that someone has done to her in a long run and tends to make a face-to-face confrontation with them.

History:
Selene was born to Amelia and Victor Blake in July of 1984 in Los Angeles, California as the middle child. As a child, Selene was close with her older sister Erika and enjoyed playing superhero with her by pretending to be Power Girl; a subconscious choice of her mutant self. Her powers first surfaced when she was eleven years old. Leo, Selene's younger brother, was nearly ran over by a car, but Selene who noticed jumped in the way and somehow managed to stop the car in it's tracks, actually also levitating it a little by just holding her hands out. At that point her mother ran out of the house to see the whole thing. Her parents were pretty shaken up by nearly losing a son and finding out one of their daughters was a mutant. Her father was the one who was taken by this the most. He even called it illness and wanted some way to cure her. Selene herself didn't see anything wrong with herself, she actually found it great.

The fact their daughter is a mutant was a cause of many arguments between Amelia and Victor. In the end they agreed that they would try to keep it a secret. The young mutant didn't like that to some extent and practiced her power. Soon she found out she had also some other 'talents', which she worked on secretly as well. Later in her teens she had gained a pretty good control over her powers. When she was about sixteen, going under the nickname Power Girl she tried to become a superhero to help people. However she was later discovered and a gang of humans that called themselves 'Friends of Humanity' attacked her family. Amelia was killed by them that night, whether by accident or on purpose is unknown. Selene's power of telekinesis went over the edge and she almost killed one of the attackers.

After that it all went down the hill.Her father didn't want anything to do with the girl, he blamed her for her mothers death and Erika was afraid of her. Selene too blamed herself for Amelia's death and began to hate humans with passion. The only one who seemed somewhat understanding was her younger brother. Though she couldn't stand it at home, she packed her most important stuff and savings and after two months ran away. Ending up in New York she adopted the nickname Glory and had to resort to stealing wallets from people to survive. Not that she minded taking something from the mutant hating community. Also she changed her look completely and started to wear only latex. A few months ago she came across some Brotherhood mutants. The human hating part of her liked their ideals and she decided to join in.

As it was slowly nearing night the bat flew out again. Or more specifically, Selene went out for a little stroll. As usually she was wearing her latex outfit, now just also with her trench coat. The few stares she attracted with her choice of attire didn't bother the telekinetic. Subconsciously she headed to the park, although she did not go there often in the few weeks she had been in New York. She preferred darker places with less to none people or rooftops. However the second she arrived to her destination she regretted the choice. The families around made the mutant think of the one she once had.

It seemed she was not destined to be among the happy people of the earth. To think that once she was a fairly happy teen was ridiculous. Image of her younger sixteen year old self appeared in her memories. A girl with long darkish brown hair and brown eyes that tried to become a superhero. Now she was completely different, a young woman with shoulder length black hair that dressed only in latex. The only thing that remained the same were her normal eyes and facial features.

Selene was torn out of her walk down the memory lane by voices. And rain. A small smile appeared on her face once she realized it was raining. How the families fled from the rain. Perhaps there was some little justice in the world for her. But she was on her way to getting soaked. Not that she did mind really.

When she taps into her powers to a bigger extent her eyes turn unnaturally icy blue.
