Powers: Carter has the ability to influence the gravity in the general areas around him. He can lessen gravity to make objects levitate and fly, or he can increase the gravity around an object and pin it down, with the potential to crush it. He can create gravitational forcefields capable of rechanneling energy back at an attacker. He can also fire blasts of gravitational impulses, send anything it hits flying.
Appearance:
Personality: Carter has a high and mighty attitude, and is extremely full of himself. It is not unknown for him to look down upon even teammates. He is logical, clever, and knowledgegable but he overbears it onto other people. He is arrogant and overconfident in his own abilities. He genearally believes that he is simply just better than everybody else.
History: Carter Haben had, for the most part, a secluded life. This was mainly due to the fact that he was a mutant, capable of many acts of destruction. Rather than think that there was anything wrong with him or think that humans feared mutants, he attributed their hatred to their jealousy of him. After all, he could control the very forces of gravity; who wouldnt be jealous?
Carter took to the streets after turned down by any college he applied to. He deemed them unworthy to have his presence anyway. He happened across the brotherhood, spreading their message of mutant superiority. That ideal agreed with his personality, and he joined adopting the codename of Gravitron. He has become known as a destructive foe and an enemy to many since then, and he quite enjoys it.
Sample RP Carter walked down the streets of New York, switching back and forth occasionally, between walking and hovering. He glared at everyone passing who dared to glance at him. Turning the street corner, and into a small park. He turned to see that he was being followed; a problem that would soon be resolved. Redirecting the center of gravity, the man collapsed face first into the cement unable to support himself in the force. Chuckling to himself, Gravitron lifted up into the air and zoomed away.
