Powers: Katy has the ability to produce a sonic scream,which can be so high-pitched that it can cause a human's ears to bleed.
Appearance: Katy has long,soft brown hair that is similar to how her grandmother's was when she was Katy's age. She also has dark eyes that make her appear like a lost,lonely puppy sometimes. They become a light blue color when she uses her power.
Personality: Katy is a quiet girl who rarely tries to fight with anyone. She's pretty much the puppy that's been kicked around one too many times...the pet of her siblings,and the pet of the X-Men,I guess you could say.
History: Katherine Winston is the youngest of the Winston children, and her siblings are Erin, Cherry, Dallas, and Michael. The only other Winston child that was abused as badly as Katy was, was her brother Michael. Their parents beat her a lot, and didn't notice or care if she came home, or went out.
When Katy was 14, she was walking home late one night from the 7-11, and she was jumped by a gang of boys. It wasn't anything too surprising,considering kids like her got jumped a lot. But they beat her badly. Really badly. When they were hurting her, she let out this high-pitched sonic scream,that caused one boy's ears to bleed a little. She quickly ran away, not even going home. She didn't know where to go at first, but a professor from the Xavier Institute found her,and took her back to the mansion. After that, she wrote a letter to her siblings,but wrote Michael's name on the envelope.
She got a letter back, written by Dallas, and it said that they would find her as soon as they could.
Sample RP Katy walked down the street, staring at the ground, and she had a plastic bag from the 7-11 with a few Cokes in it, and a pack of cigarettes for Dally. As she walked, she heard the engine of a car, and looked up to see a blue Mustang coming down the street. Damnit... she thought to herself,a little scared. The Mustang stopped, and the driver got out of the car, smirking. "Hey there,baby," he said. Katy could tell he was somewhat drunk. Before she could say anything, he grabbed her arm and pulled her closer, causing her to drop the bag. Another boy got out of the car and came up behind her, pulling her other arm behind her back. The next thing she knew, she was on the ground, the left side of her head bleeding. As one of them pulled out his switchblade, Katy's eyes widened, and when she opened her mouth to scream...nothing came out..at first. But then, a high-pitched scream came out, causing the boys to back off and cover their ears. Katy got up as fast as she could, and saw the boys on the ground covering their ears. Not sure what to do, she panicked, and ran away down the street, not sure where to go.
Extra: Katy smokes now, and so does her brother Dallas.
