In the crowd of people walking back and forth through the streets, there was one teenage girl who walked past all of them, her head hanging somewhat as she stared at the ground. Even though she didn't look ahead, she knew exactly what was ahead of her...but didn't know where she was going. She had no idea where to find Remy LeBeau, or the Xavier Institute. Her head was hurting...it hurt a lot nowadays, since that one night...
Charrli didn't snap out of her thoughts until she ran right into somebody, causing her to stumble back just a bit. "I...I'm sorry." she muttered, rubbing her nose a bit as she finally looked up to see who she had run into.

The girl glanced at him, and saw him smile. She tried to return the smile, but she couldn't. Instead she looked around.

Charrli looked back to the person she'd run into, and without really thinking, she asked one of the questions that had been running through her mind for a long time. "Where's the Xavier Institute?" she blurted.

Charrli finally returned the smile, but it was a half-smile. "Thanks.." she replied, and turned around and started to walk off to find the institute.
