Dance...(Open)

[Miley Beauvais]

The lake was pretty much abandoned...it had been like that for most of the afternoon. Miley was happy about that, happy to have a place to herself for a while. She'd been dancing by the lake all afternoon, wearing a plain black shirt and jeans. As she danced, she remembered her dance classes that her mother taught....and wondered if her mother was still teaching them.

"All right, girls, let's try act two, scene three one more time," Madame Beauvais said to the girls, then looked at the pianist. "Ephrem, when you're ready."
The pianist began playing the music, and the girls began to dance. They'd been practicing this part the most.
"Your girls are very talented," a ballet scout said from behind the teacher. Miley looked over at him as she continued to dance, and that was when she noticed a boy her age standing next to him. Must have been the man's son.
"Yes, they certainly are."
"And that graceful angel over there...your daughter, I assume? She does seem to have your eyes, Isabelle."
"Yes, that is my daughter. Amelia. She's one of my best students."

As Miley remembered that one day in class, she stumbled slightly and stopped dancing, staring at the lake..at her reflection. She then held out her hand and waved it, casting a small shadow over the area of the lake nearest to her.

Toad was hopping threw trees looking for nothing really just hanging out side. he like going to the lake. he hopped from a tree to the ground looked out into the water he looked to his left and saw a girl standing there looking into the water. he hopped behind her " hey whats you doing" trying to look at what she was looking at but all he saw was water.

Miley froze when she heard someone behind her, and the shadow quickly disappeared due to her distraction. She turned around to see who it was, and saw a man who was vaguely familiar..more than likely cause he was one of the mutants that enjoyed causing chaos around the city. "Nothing." she replied quickly.

"nothing really " Toad smirks and picks up a stone and throws it trying to get it to skim but it just plops into the water. toad looks at the spot that it landed at and then looks back at the girl " I'm toad he puts out his hand for her to shake it "

Miley stared at him somewhat blankly. Part of her figured she shouldn't talk to him... he was with the Brotherhood, after all. But she didn't want to be completely rude. "Miley." she replied quietly, digging her hands into her pockets without shaking his hand.

Toad looked at his hand that was still out and gave out a week smirk toad takes aways his hand and looks back at her " fine then " It was clear that the girl knew what side he was on and she probably wouldn't join it he asked." Toad crosses his arms so what side are you on " he knew that the brotherhood was the way to go.

Miley blinked. What side was she on? She wasn't really on anybody's side..other than her own. She shrugged. "The dark side." she replied, smiling faintly. "You should join..we have cookies." she added jokingly.

toad smirked he never heired of the dark side before " um ya no I'm good I role with a bigger and better group" he sighs " but we never have any cookies" he laughs a little bit " why don't you join a real team" he sits down on the ground

Miley sighed. "Aw..too bad." she said sarcastically. "No thanks..I'm fine on my own."

"alright it's your choice" toad stands up straight and shrugs his shoulders "If you want to be on your own thats fine" toad hops on to a tree branch near by . "but if you ever change your mind you know where to go." toad starts to hop to branch to branch to the brotherhood house.
