Joseph didn't let go, instead her pulled her closer to him. "Let me teach you how to swim." he said. He honestly wanted to teach her how to swim.

Melinda started blushing she like being close to him like that she didn't want him to let her go. She closed her eyes and they went back to blue she opened them."Sure you can teach me if you want."Melinda said to Joseph.

Joseph grinned. "Kick your feet and move your arms." he directed. He wasn't much of a teacher, not really anyways. He hated teachers, maybe that was why detention happened to be where he graduated from.

"I can't do this Joseph."Melinda said to Joesph trying to leave. She remmbered why she never learn to swim. Her best friend had a drowning accident and she died she was the best swimmer.

Joseph pulled her closer to him again. "Calm down, Red. If you panic, you'll get sick." he told her. He swam in front of her without ever letting her go. He looked at her and held her hands. giving her enough room to swim to him if she started to panic again. "Now, kick you feet."

Melinda started to remmber the day her best friend had a drowning accident and she died she was the best swimmer. "Joseph I really can do this. See my best friend had a drowning accident and she died she was the best swimmer. And I was there and saw it happen."Melinda said to Joseph as tears started rolling down her face.

"Bad memories, as much as they hurt, ar nothing to worry about. Hell I was bitten by a snake, but they're still my favorite animal. Joseph said trying to make a point. "Just do as I say, I promise I won't let you drown."

Joseph laughed. "If you promise to follow my instructions, I'll consider it." He teased. Joseph was growing fond of Melinda, she had a spark that began to match Peyson's. She was good for flirting with, but he wasn't sure about dating. Not like there was anything wrong with Melinda that made him not want to date her, it was just that Joseph wasn't really the dating type. He'd had only two serious relationships in his life and neither of them turned out well. "Kick your feet." He told her again.

Melinda smiled and did as Joseph asked.She felt safe with him. She want to be with him."How am I doing?"Melinda asked Joseph with a smile on her face and her face started glow more and it was a good glow and Joseph could tell she was glowing when ever she was with him.
