Carter walked down the hallway. A noise came from inside quicksilver's room but Carter didnt stop to find out what it was. Near the end of the hallway there was an empty room and he stepped inside. "Well here you go. Does this work?" He noticed she was still glowing. She said she was fine though, so Carter didnt think anything of it.

Carter smirked as she talked. "Thats sounds like a fun power. I can control gravity and use it to my will," Carter explained, the natural arrogance emmiting as it always did when discussing his power.

"Well, I had heard of some of the things that the brotherhood had done in the name of mutants. Trying to obtain our rightful place as masters of this earth. That and Magneto thought that i had my uses in the name of his message," Carter said, all the more arrogantly.

Carter's sense of self-importance was interupted by this question. "Well in the past 10 minutes I've known you, I'd say you seem to be a nice person. Im sure we'll get along just fine." He gave an arrogant smile.

Carter was slightly taken aback by this. So thats what this had been about...Carter shook his head; it all made sense now. Of course Carter was cute; it wouldnt be the first or last time he was told so. He smirked "And you what?"

Faber had been looking for Carter for a while now and when he finally found him he was slightly alarmed. The last girl who came onto him like this new girl had, ended up in pretty bad shape. At her last statement, Faber came into the room looking surprised to find them there, even though he had been listening to the whole conversation. Oh, there you are Carter. I've been looking for you for ages.
