Nate walked around the first floor aimlessly. He was just so bored, it seemed as if there was nothing to do in the mansion. He came to the living room but didn't feel like watching TV or anything like that so he left.
He put his hands in his pockets and scuffed his feet as he walked. A few things levitated behind him as he walked but he didn't take any notice of them.

Cyclops walked around the corner to run into a flying chair. He stepped back and looked up the hallway to see a student walking down the Hallway apparantly oblivious to the floating furniture behind him.
"Umm..." He said quietly holding up a hand and sort of pointing to the floating items.
"You might like to put them back." He said and smiled slightly.

The levitating objects dropped immediately as Nate was snapped out of his own little world. He turned swiftly to see his father coming up the corridor. Though, Scott didn't know he was his father. Oh geez, this is going to be awkward for me. He thought and smiled, rather forced, as Scott.
"Sorry about that. That always happens when I'm lost in thought."

Melinda turned the corner and saw Nate and Scott talking she smiled."Hi you guys."Melinda said to them as she passed with a smile on her face.

Scott smiled at the guy a little. Something was familiar about the teen... but then again he had apparently returned from the dead and therefore everybody looked vaguely familiar so he just assumed that this boy was another student he had met before and forgotten a few months ago.
"It's alright, Happens to all of us..." He said and looked at the mess that had been made. "I'll help you take some of this stuff back if you-" He stopped as he heard Melinda's voice.
"Hi Melinda, Is everything cool?" He asked a small pun on her powers. He thought it was quite clever himself.

He smiled at Scott, knowing that he thought Nate looked familiar but just brushed it off.
"No, its fine. I can do it."
All the objects that had crashed to the ground, lifted up and zoomed back to their respective places, just as they were before. He looked to this Melinda girl that had just come.
"Hi. I don't think we've met. I'm Nate G..." He hesitated saying his last name infront of his father. "Nate, just Nate."

"That's a shame..." Scott said to Melinda, "But that's why you're here right, to Learn how to control your powers." He smiled kindly, then turned to listen to Nate as he spoke, he also noticed another girl whom he did not recgnise walk up to them. He smiled slightly at her too.
He watched as Nate send all the objects back to their places and noded slightly.
"So you have telekinesis, I remember when Jean kept rearranging the furniture in her sleep," He chuckled slightly at the memory but then stopped.
"Well Nate, just Nate, It's nice to meet you. I'm Scott, but most people here know me as Cyclops." He smiled. It was great being back at the mansion again.
He nodded at Marnie and smiled as she also introduced herself to the group.

Nate grinned at all three of them, glad to have met some new people here.
"Its nice to meet you, marnie, and you too, Cyclops." He said, resisting the urge to hesitate before saying cyclops. It felt a little weird saying that and not calling him dad.
"Yeah, telekinesis among other things." He genuinely grinned when Scott started talking about Jean. He remembered being told he did that exact same thing when he was younger and he had bad dreams. He also remembered being told that it was his father that usually comforted him after those bad dreams and he smiled softly to himself.

Scott shook Marnie's hand while saying, "I don't know about famous..." He scratched his head slightly and looked at the other two.
"It's strange," He said looking at Nate, "Have we met before, You see something happened and now there are a few people i've met again who I don't remember but I feel as though I've met you before and I should know you."
He looked at the little girl who walked by and smiled at her.
