"Let's just calm down a little." Angel said to melinda, not liking the way she was speaking to Marnie. After that though, he fell silent, waiting to see if she could distinguish the voice. After a while he started to grow impatient.

Marnie could sense Warren's impatience. She stood up as Melinda continued hearing the voice. "I was just um.......wondering if maybe........." Marnie tried saying, but was really nervous as she had never asked a guy out. "If um maybe you'd like to um...." She said scratching the back of her head

The voice went away. "Sorry Marnie about the way I was speaking to you. And just asked him."Melinda said to Marnie with a smile on her face.

He smiled as Melinda said sorry and nodded to her in thanks.
He turned to marnie who was trying to say something. He smiled at her when she finally spat it out.
"I would love to." He said to her. His face fell. "But I don't know about the policy of teachers dating students..." He trailed off. Even though she looked about his age, he wasn't sure about it.

"I don't know. I guess it is." He said, feeling rotten about it. "I'm sorry." He sighed and stood up to his full height, unfolding his wings.
"I have to go." He said and beat his wings, sending him soaring into the air.
